Marriott International introduces three new brands to Cape Town

Marriott International, Inc leo imetangaza mipango ya ujenzi wa mali mpya tatu za hoteli huko Cape Town, kwa kushirikiana na Kikundi cha Amdec.

Maendeleo haya matatu yaliyopangwa yataongeza vyumba zaidi ya 500 kwa matoleo ya malazi ya hoteli ya Cape Town. Kuleta vyumba 189 vya ziada huko Cape Town, ukingo wa maji wa hoteli ya AC Hotel Cape Town utapatikana katika Kituo cha Yacht katika eneo la Roggebaai kwenye lango la kuelekea ukingo wa maji wa Cape Town, wakati kwenye Kituo cha Bandari (eneo la sasa la Culemborg), ambalo sasa ni eneo kuu miradi ya ujenzi, itakuwa mahali pa chumba 200 cha Cape Town Marriott Hotel Foreshore na chumba cha kulala cha 150-Residence Inn na Marriott Cape Town Foreshore.

Tangazo hili ni ugani wa ushirikiano uliopo wa Marriott na Kikundi cha Amdec, kilichoanzishwa mnamo 2015 na tangazo la maendeleo ya hoteli mbili za kwanza za Marriott nchini Afrika Kusini. Mali hizi mbili, ziko katika eneo maarufu la Melrose Arch Precinct huko Johannesburg, zimepangwa kufunguliwa mnamo 2018, na ni Hoteli ya Johannesburg Marriott Melrose Arch na Marriott Executive Apartments Johannesburg Melrose Arch.

Uwekezaji wa jumla wa Amdec katika maendeleo haya ya Cape Town na Johannesburg unafikia zaidi ya R3 bilioni kati ya miji hiyo miwili ambayo itakuwa na athari nzuri za kiuchumi na athari kubwa katika kuunda kazi.

Inatarajiwa kwamba, wakati wa awamu ya ujenzi, takriban ajira 8 zinazohusiana na ujenzi zitatengenezwa. Mara baada ya hoteli hizo kukamilika, zaidi ya kazi 000 mpya za ukarimu zitaundwa - 700 katika hoteli tatu mpya za Cape Town na 470 huko Johannesburg.

Cape Town’s importance in the world tourist market has been confirmed in recent years with the ever-increasing visitor numbers to the city.  The addition of further accommodation to meet the growing demand will place the city in an even stronger position as a top global destination.
